What is the water cycle?The water cycle is the process of moving water around the Earth.This happens in 4 steps:

The first stage is evaporation,when the sun heats the water to its boiling point and turns into water vapor.Another way of evaporation is when the water seeps in the soil and goes into plant roots.This water now travels up the plant and gets on the leaf and does the same thing,the sun heats up the water and and turns it into water vapor.

The next stage is condensation,condensation is where that water vapor travels up the atmosphere and gets cooler until they form into water droplets.These water droplets start to form a big cloud,where the next stage penetrates.

This third stage is precipitation,precipitation is what the type of rain comes down to earth.For e.g sleet,hale,normal rain and ice crystals.

The last stage is accumulation,where the water gets collected in the ocean,lakes,rivers and seas.It can also be collected underground,this is called infiltration or seeping water in the ground.This can go to plant roots which marks the restarting of the water cycle.

We made an experiment about the water cycle.First we drew a mountain with snow(if you want to add),clouds and the ocean with a vivid pen.Our next step was adding small amount of dye and adding water to simulate the evaporation.We taped them to the windows and let the sun do its job.Once we inspected them,there were water droplets and less water.That’s all,maybe you want to try the experiment? Last week,our reading was about dragon ball and we learned about Bulma’s family invented the hoi poi capsules.For our reading task this week, we had to make an advertisement for the Hoi poi capsules.

These are my capsules.I would bring these if I was looking for the dragon balls.Doing this task was quite fun. This task was about “What would you bring if you were looking for the dragon balls?”

I woke up early to go to school before 7:45 AM.My Mum drove me to school,but we got stuck in a 5 minute traffic.Luckily we found a shortcut and I got to school in time.Mr Bell then called me to put my bag down and line up with the others.

2 minutes later Rm 8 lined up to go on the bus with us.Then Ms. George told us “People can’t sit in the back.Start sitting from the front”Me and John were partners since everyone had a partner except for me and John so we just sat together.We waited like 10-15 minutes to get there but we still made it,a bit early about 25 minutes.

We sat down on our seats and 15 minutes in the movie I instantly knew the movie was about the 2011 Christchurch earthquake and its aftermath.When the movie ended,it wasn’t that sad but I did tear up a bit.And when we came back to our school,we had free playtime for about 15 minutes.After that happened we went back to class and talked about the movie.I wasn’t that long for us to go home,but I still got to tell the story to my family.

Great Beginnings.Great Beginnings Is all about literacy.We learned how to make our own stories.I really enjoyed making my story.I had some challenges to face when making my story.My next step is maybe,adding more details to my story.here’s an example of mine.

It was a quiet,dark road the corn farm was pitch black I could only hear crows enjoying their corn meal.In the distance,I saw something rise from the farm I called out to it,but it didn’t respond.I pulled out my binoculars what I saw was terrifying.It was a guy about 5 to 6 feet tall holding a chainsaw,he started to pull on the string that started the chainsaw,it started and he stared at me.I turned around,then I heard a roar from the chainsaw he chased me,I didn’t know what to do and where to go.I know I’m going in circles. I didn’t hear the chainsaw or the guy anymore.Little did I  know he was just meters away.

This is my Waka Hourua and I built it myself using glue guns and some tape to build my hulls,my hut and my spoon.I had the idea to install sticks to build my floor.

These are the emotion in the iron woman book.

Waka hourua is used for long distance traveling And  traveling.

The Waka hourua has two hulls.

The hulls are very tall so it can stabilize.

The Waka is light so it can go very fast 100 meters cover in 0.01 nanosecond.

Waka hourua are powered by wind done by the big sails

The Waka hourua was buried by maoris because they were made out of trees.

 I have been learning about faith,hope,and love and learning all about Jesus love and kindness to us.My experience was GOOD our teacher Mr.bell had helped us with some of the work but we mostly did the faith,hope,and love.

Donbas war is the war between Russia and Ukraine.The battle started in 2014 in the Ukrainian region of Donbas.

The Russian President Putin said he wanted to make Russia bigger and denied Ukraine’s rights to exist.Before Kyiv time on February 24 Putin in another speech announced a special military operation which declared a war on Ukraine.Russia’s army made nonstop air and ground attacks which targeted regions throughout Ukraine.

Russia’s President attacked Ukraine because of its weak army and was easy for them to invade.But if you say that it’s finished it’s not.
