The sky was blue as I placed my dark wet suit in my bag.I hurried to get my phone in my bag and bring it to Goat Island.My sister and I were so excited to arrive at Goat Island.

As we came up to a service center, my Dad drove to a BP gas station and there, we met our friend Dwight. We talked about making a sandcastle when we arrived. But as we left and arrived after 20 minutes,we only found sand close to the entrance and not close to the ocean where we could have a mission to protect it. We took out the tent and changed straight into our wet suits and some life vests.

Before we proceeded to snorkel, we ate snacks for extra energy. We went to the edge of the big rocks and descended into a tree to get to the other side. Finally we started swimming at the edge of an underwater drop off where we saw big fishes, corals and seaweed. I prepared to drop in the water and see some fishes. I was scared at first that I would fall to the bottom but I kept calm and didn’t panic. 

After a few hours in the water, we prepared to go back home. Before we went back, we found a small pond with warm water and stayed there for about 5 minutes. We walked back to the campsite and dried ourselves. We were going back to the car when suddenly I spotted a blue cod right at my foot. I tried to catch it but it was slippery.

On the way home, I talked to myself.  “This was the best day this year so far!” 

Take care of your device or your Chromebook by not smashing or destroying the keys and do not put heavy things or something that can break the screen when on top of.Do not place any liquid or a bottle of water close to the device where it can tip over and get water in your Chromebook and breaking it,the other thing is close and hold it with both hands and not running.Shut down your Chromebook after using it because it will drain the battery and it can mess with the software.

Euphrasie barbier

Adele Euphrasie barbier was born in Caen France 1829.

She came to nz in 1872,she was part of the mission sisters and founded by RNDM.

The mission sisters took over st patrick’s panmure in 1904.

Mary was her inspiration because she recognized the unique grace given to Mary to welcome and to participate in divine missions.

What is sound?Sound is when a type vibration in any pitch,travels through the air.But how do we hear  sound?Well there’s this part of our ear where the vibration get redirected into the ear canal which then the eardrum or what we call tympanic membrane vibrates into these small 3 bones called the Ossicles.The ossicles are made up of 3 different bones,These 3 bones also vibrates into the cochlea which then transferred to the brain and that’s how we know what’s making or the source and type of sound.Birds might not have ears but their just really tiny and birds usually fly away,but there’s these hair that protect the ears from dust and insects.

November 5th 1605 a guy called Guy Fawkes,who tried assassinating King James the 1st by putting gunpowder under the cellars of houses of parliament.His mission failed after guards found gunpowder in barrels and knew someone is trying to assassinate the king,and soon got caught and executed.November 5th is now celebrated as the failure of the gunpowder plot.

People celebrated with bonfires and fireworks although fireworks were a danger to the world especially for causing forest fires also for scaring and killing pets directly or indirectly.

The gunpowder plot will always be remembered as the failed assassination of King James the 1st.

We should be saving water because in 1977 there were 752,000 people living in NZ and now in 2025 there is 1.71 million people living in NZ the population has almost doubled but the dams are still the same from 1977.

If 32 people turned their tap of just for one day,the water they saved can fill up a bathtub.

Start to save water by turning of the tap,get 5 minute shower or less and save water in case of an emergency.

We should start to save water because the water is getting shorter and shorter and if the water is finished power and electricity will be cut.

This activity was our task to save water in our home and in other places.Because New Zealand dams produce electricity.

Should  or shouldn’t Goku trust Bulma?Well Bulma might do something to find all the Dragon Balls:

First she might be using him to make a wish of her own.Like a really cute boyfriend because she’s spoiled.

Second,Bulma might be leading Goku to a dangerous place to try and kill him.

Goku should trust Bulma because she has all the accessories to find the Dragon Balls and survive.

Last thing I had an idea of is that Goku has the power to change peoples personality and help him find the Dragon Balls with Bulma.

We did this because we had finished a book and Mr Bell Had introduced us to the Dragon Ball book.He read it to us and made us do some activities and one of them is this one.It was really mid to do cause you really have to think of some ideas.

What is the water cycle?The water cycle is the process of moving water around the Earth.This happens in 4 steps:

The first stage is evaporation,when the sun heats the water to its boiling point and turns into water vapor.Another way of evaporation is when the water seeps in the soil and goes into plant roots.This water now travels up the plant and gets on the leaf and does the same thing,the sun heats up the water and and turns it into water vapor.

The next stage is condensation,condensation is where that water vapor travels up the atmosphere and gets cooler until they form into water droplets.These water droplets start to form a big cloud,where the next stage penetrates.

This third stage is precipitation,precipitation is what the type of rain comes down to earth.For e.g sleet,hale,normal rain and ice crystals.

The last stage is accumulation,where the water gets collected in the ocean,lakes,rivers and seas.It can also be collected underground,this is called infiltration or seeping water in the ground.This can go to plant roots which marks the restarting of the water cycle.

We made an experiment about the water cycle.First we drew a mountain with snow(if you want to add),clouds and the ocean with a vivid pen.Our next step was adding small amount of dye and adding water to simulate the evaporation.We taped them to the windows and let the sun do its job.Once we inspected them,there were water droplets and less water.That’s all,maybe you want to try the experiment?
